The title "Salvation Navy" has been used for many different types of groups since and during the life time of General William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army. There is evidence that Gen. Booth approved of that title for some naval related work.

We will give you some information about our little down home and humble Mission. To begin with..... we are not involved in charity handouts and we do not ask for any donations. We are self funded and very independent. Also, the word "Salvation" in our name has a different meaning than the word as it is used by traditional christian religious groups.
